2. One Day, One Night – Jeep Tour
This tour offers the best of both worlds – a day and a night in the desert – for those with a limited amount of time but a hankering to sleep under the stars this is the perfect tour.
- Arrival and Welcome: Arriving to Wadi Rum, meeting and greeting at our office in Rum Village, drinking a cup of welcome tea, introducing to your Bedouin guide and preparing to start the tour
- Driving through Wadi Rum village to Lawrence’s Spring
- Off to climb the red sand dunes of Wadi Umm Ishrin where you can try your hand at sand boarding
- Khazali Canyon and Inscriptions: Discover various Thamudic and Nabataen inscriptions, as well as ancient drawings of animals and humans dating back to 300 BC
- Little Bridge: Enjoy the Khor al Ajram bridge, which is easy to reach, and its great views
- From here we will turn to the South and visit Lawrence’s House,
- Hiking through Abu Khashabah Canyon, which can be passed easily in around an hour, and having delicious Bedouin lunch prepared by your Bedouin guide
- Have a chance to view the amazing naturally formed rock bridge Um Frouth, climb it in around ten minutes and reach a height of 20m
- Visit the High Point where you will get an ample view of the gorgeous landscape and the line between the red and white desert
- Visit the popular rock formation known as the chicken rock. It is called like this because of its unusual shape that looks like a chicken
- Heading back to the site of our camp where you will relax on our sunset viewing platform elevated above the desert floor with a cup of tea. Followed by a traditional Bedouin style dinner in our sitting tent. After enjoying your dinner you can spend some time stargazing or relaxing around the bonfire in the tent
- Next day: Breakfast will be served at 7 am in the camp and when you are ready we will transport you back to Rum Village

3. One Day, Two Nights – Jeep Tour
The perfect tour for those who have a full day to spare want to spend two nights in the desert.
Day 1
- Arrival and Welcome: Upon arriving at Wadi Rum in the evening, you will be greeted at our office in Rum Village. You will be hosted with a cup of tea, and then we will drive you to our camp in the desert.
- Sunset Viewing: Upon reaching the camp, you will have the opportunity to relax on our sunset viewing platform, elevated above the desert floor, while enjoying a cup of tea. After the sun sets, we will retire to our sitting tent, where a traditional Bedouin-style dinner has been prepared.
- Evening Activities: After enjoying your dinner with some hot Bedouin tea, you may want to spend some time stargazing or just relaxing around the bonfire in the tent.
Day 2
- Breakfast: Breakfast will be served at 7 am in the camp, and when you are ready, we will continue with your tour.
- Chicken Rock: This morning, you will visit a popular rock formation known as the Chicken Rock, which has a very unusual shape that many visitors claim looks like a chicken.
- Scenic Viewpoint: Next, we will visit a high point from where you will get an ample view of the gorgeous landscape, observing the striking boundary between the white and red desert.
- Um Frouth Natural Rock Bridge: Our next destination is Um Frouth, a natural rock bridge that takes around ten minutes to climb and stands at a height of 20 meters.
- Abu Khashaba Canyon: From there, we will continue to Abu Khashaba Canyon, a beautiful canyon that can be easily walked through in around 30-40 minutes. The surroundings provide wonderful photo opportunities framed by dramatic rock formations, with particularly dramatic views at sunrise and sunset when the rocks take on an orange glow. Your guide will drop you off on one side of the canyon, and you will meet him on the opposite side.
- Lawrence’s House: Continuing to the South, we will visit Lawrence’s House. While it’s uncertain if this was actually the home of Lawrence, there are stories that he both stayed and/or stored weapons here. However, the current structure is built upon the remains of a Nabataean building, making it another beautiful spot in the desert.
- Small Rock Bridge: Almost immediately across from Lawrence’s House, you will find the Small Rock Bridge, a natural rock bridge that takes a few minutes to climb and provides a panorama view over the desert.
- Wadi Umm Ishrin Red Dune: From here, we will head East and take time to visit the large red dune of Wadi Umm Ishrin. Although it requires some effort to climb, it’s great fun to run or sandboard down.
- Khazali Canyon and Inscriptions: Almost immediately across from the dune are the Khazali Canyon and Inscriptions. This mountain has various Thamudic and Nabataean inscriptions, as well as ancient drawings of animals and humans dating to 300 BC!
- Sunset at the Camp: We will then head back to the site of our camp to enjoy the spectacular sunset.
- Evening Activities and Dinner: After sunset, you will enjoy a traditional dinner, Bedouin tea, and have the opportunity to relax around the campfire with locals.
Day 3
- Sunrise Viewing: In the morning, you can witness the sunrise from the camp.
- Breakfast: Breakfast will be ready soon after sunrise.
- Return to Rum Village: After breakfast, you will embark on your journey back to Rum Village, the meeting place for the tour.
