This tour is designed to allow guests to explore by hiking the amazing landscape of Burdah rock bridge. It offers close encounters with narrow valleys and mountainous nooks and crannies unlike those seen elsewhere in the protected area.
1. One Day, One Night – Jeep and Hiking Tour – Burdah Bridge
The hike to the Burdah rock Bridge offers an incredibly beautiful 360 view of the Wadi Rum desert. Once you reach the bridge, you’ll find yourself at peace as you breathe in the fresh air while enjoying the stunning view. This hike is definitely one of our favorites!
- Arrival and Welcome: Receive a warm welcome at our office in Rum Village. You’ll be offered a warm cup of tea, introduced to your Bedouin guide, and get you prepared for your desert adventure.
- Travel to Lawrence’s Spring: Your journey begins at Lawrence’s Spring, it is said that Lawrence of Arabia washed at this spring during the Arab Revolt of 1916
- Sand Dunes and Sandboarding: Take the opportunity to ascend the captivating red sand dunes of Wadi Umm Ishrin and try your hand at sandboarding.
- Nabataean Inscriptions: Explore Khazali Canyon to witness ancient Nabataean and Thamudic inscriptions (drawings of animals and humans dating back to 300 BC!)
- Lawrence’s House: Continue your adventure by visiting Lawrence’s House, another historical site associated with the legendary T.E. Lawrence.
- Abu Khashabah Canyon: Enjoy a walk through the canyon with plenty of photo opportunities. Your guide will drop you off on one side of the canyon and you’ll meet him on the other side. You’ll have a chance to sandboard at the end of the canyon!
- Lunch in the Canyon: Enjoy a delicious lunch amidst the picturesque surroundings of the canyon.
- Jebel Burdah: Next you will visit Burdah Bridge or ‘High Bridge’ a naturally formed rock arch providing impressive views. A 3-hour hike accompanied by a Bedouin guide.
- Um Fruth Natural Bridge: Resume your tour with a visit to Um Fruth, a remarkable natural rock bridge that you can climb. It stands at a height of 20 meters and takes approximately 10 minutes to ascend.
- Dinner and Evening Activities: After sunset, you’ll retire to a traditional Bedouin-style dinner in a sitting tent. You can enjoy hot Bedouin tea and have the option to stargaze or relax around a bonfire in the tent.
- Morning Sunrise: In the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to witness a stunning desert sunrise from the camp.
- Breakfast and Return: Breakfast will be served soon after sunrise (7 am), and then you’ll begin your journey back to Rum Village, the meeting place for the tour.

Day One
- Arrival and Welcome: Receive a warm welcome at the our office in Rum Village. You’ll be offered a warm cup of tea, introduced to your Bedouin guide, and get you prepared for your desert adventure.

- Jebel Hash Ridge: Embark on a magnificent drive southward, traversing the vast desert valleys. Jebel Hash, a high ridge that stretches east to west for several kilometers.
- Scenic Ridge Walk: Enjoy a captivating 3-4 hour walk along the top of the ridge, where you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring views. To the north lies the stunning Wadi Rum, while to the south, you can glimpse the neighboring landscape of Saudi Arabia. This walk along a well-marked path promises an extraordinary experience, allowing you to connect with the grandeur of the desert.
- Lunch and Descent: After descending from Jebel Hash, a delicious lunch awaits you, providing a welcome break after your morning adventure.
- Return to Rum Village: Following your satisfying lunch, begin your journey back to Rum Village by jeep, all while marveling at the spectacular landscape that surrounds you.

3. One Day, One Night - Jeep and Hiking Tour - Jabal Um Ad Dami
Jebel Um Adami Located far south of wadi Rum Desert by Saudi Arabia Border , Jebel Um Adami is the tallest mountain in Jordan, reaching a height of 1830m (6004ft) from the sea level.
Day One
- Arrival and Greeting: Receive a warm welcome at the our office in Rum Village. You’ll be offered a warm cup of tea, introduced to your Bedouin guide, and get you prepared for your desert adventure.
- Scenic Desert Drive: Your day kicks off with a picturesque drive across the mesmerizing desert landscapes, setting the scene for your upcoming explorations.
- Hike to Jebel Um Adami: Enjoy the two-hour hike to the summit of Jebel Um Adami, which is the highest mountain in Jordan. Revel in a sense of accomplishment as you reach the peak and take in the awe-inspiring views (including the border with Saudi Arabia) At the summit, take a well-deserved break, capture breathtaking photographs, and rest before beginning your descent.
- Return Journey and Lunch: The trip down from Jebel Um Adami can vary in duration, ranging from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive back at the Jeep, your guide will find a suitable spot for you to relax while he prepares a delightful lunch over an open fire.
- Exploring Wadi Sabet: After lunch, venture to a remote corner of the Protected Area known as Wadi Sabet. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to explore a rarely visited desert landscape, adding a touch of adventure to your day.
- Sunset Viewing: Return to your campsite, where you’ll unwind on a sunset viewing platform elevated above the desert floor.Savor a cup of tea as you soak in the serene desert ambiance, and as the sun bids farewell for the evening.
- Dinner and Nighttime Photography: Enjoy a traditional Bedouin-style dinner in a comfortable sitting tent. After dinner, step outside to try your hand at nighttime photography. Camera and tripod are provided, and you’ll receive guidance on capturing the perfect starry shot.
Day Two
- Morning Sunrise: In the morning, you’ll have the opportunity to witness a stunning desert sunrise from the camp.
- Breakfast: Breakfast is served at 7 am in the camp, and guests have the opportunity to enjoy the peaceful desert surroundings.
- Return to Rum Village: Following your satisfying lunch, begin your journey back to Rum Village by jeep, all while marveling at the spectacular landscape that surrounds you.
